At Youi we do not insure cars with certain modifications that improve performance or handling. Modifications are all changes from the manufacturer’s specifications, which were made to your car by you or any other person, at any time after the car left the factory where it was built, including changes made by the dealer. Some modifications can be covered by your Youi policy.

 It is very important that you tell us about all modifications made to your car. It may affect your premium and your insurance cover, since cars with certain modifications cannot be covered at all by your Youi policy.

It is also part of your duty of disclosure to tell us immediately when you decide to make modifications to your car, even during the period of cover. If you do not tell us about modifications made to your car, we may reduce or refuse your claim or cancel your policy as permitted by law.
