Trial Repairer

In areas that require support for a Member Repairer and where Youi have an increasing need to provide a service to their customers, a repairer may be offered a Member Trial status. In the event of a claim, customers are given your details to obtain an estimate and images for the repairs to their vehicle.

Repairer

In areas where claim volumes are considerable and where Youi have an increasing need to provide a service to their customers, a repairer may be offered a Member status. In the event of a claim, customers are given your details to obtain an estimate and images for the repairs to their vehicle.

We will endeavor to pay a repairer invoice promptly directly into the repairer’s nominated bank account.

In order to meet these payment terms it is important to ensure the authorised amount for repairs and the invoiced amount are identical. Any discrepancies must be discussed with our assessors.

How Audatex and Youi work

We reserve the right to validate all repair estimates using the Audatex system. This validation process looks for the completeness of and cost for the repair and the repair method to be adopted. We also consider the repairer’s equipment levels and experience to carry out repairs to the damaged vehicle.

Adjustments to a repairer’s estimate will only be considered when this validation process has been completed and our assessor is satisfied that the damage caused is consistent with the accident description.

Additional Estimates/Supplementaries

We allow for costs for additional repair/labour/parts as an additional estimate as long as we are given the opportunity to inspect and approve these in accordance with our repair guidelines.

We retain the right to protect our commercial interests when appointing Service Providers.

The following selection criteria apply:

  • Immediate need for repairers in the area
  • Ease of access to the premises
  • Presentation of shop
  • Equipment levels
  • Accreditations
  • Affiliations
  • Throughput of workshop
  • Previous dealings with Youi will be a recommendation and not a requirement.

 

New ASPs will undergo a trial period of (6) six months to allow us to determine whether required service levels can be met and maintained. After which the repairer will be provided with an official Service Level Agreement and Standard Operating Manual. All agreements are for a period of (3) three years.
