Comprehensive policies include cover for accidental damage caused to the car.
Cover for damage to the car that is caused intentionally is included under Comprehensive cover.
Comprehensive policies include cover for accidental damage to the car caused by a storm or flood.
Under both Comprehensive or Third Party Fire and Theft, you get car insurance for fire damage included.
Under a Comprehensive or Third Party Fire and Theft policy, you get car insurance for theft protection included.
We cover your car for damage caused by theft or attempted theft.
Includes cover for damage to the car caused by earthquake.
Our car insurance for third party property has you covered up to $20 million for your legal liability if your car causes damage to someone else’s property.
Cover includes the reasonable cost of towing and storage of the car to a suitable place for safekeeping nearest to the incident location after an insured event.
If your car is not safe to drive after an insured event, we'll reimburse the reasonable cost, up to $100, for personal transport from the scene of the incident, to and from the car’s repairer or to and from a hire car provider.
If you’re involved in an insured event that means your car isn’t safe to drive, and you're more than 100km from home, we’ll pay up to $1000 for your emergency accommodation, transport or repairs.
If you have a Comprehensive or Third Party Fire and Theft policy, we’ll pay for the reasonable cost of a hire car for up to 14 days following a theft or attempted theft which renders the car unable to be driven.
We now also offer a Hire Car if you’re the not-at-fault driver in an accident that causes loss or damage to your vehicle, and you have a Comprehensive Insurance policy with us. We will ask you to provide us with the name and residential address of the driver of the other vehicle as well as the registration number of their vehicle, and then supply you with a hire car

If you have Comprehensive or Third Party Fire and Theft cover, we’ll replace the following items that are on or in the car should they be damaged as a result if an insured event:
- Baby seat/s
- Personalised plates
- Window tinting
It’s not just your car we’ve got covered in the event of an insured event; we’ll look after your contents inside the car too. Comprehensive policies include up to $750 of cover, up to $150 per item.
Your unbraked trailer will be covered for up to $1500 if it’s damaged accidentally or intentionally, or as a result of storm, flood, theft or earthquake.
We will insure your replacement car, while you're trading in your current vehicle, for up to 14 days after the purchase, if your replacement car is purchased for less than $100,000.
Need mental health services? Youi covers up to $1,500 per household member for counselling sessions after a claim.
If a driver of your car sustains a fatal injury as a result of an accident while driving the car with your permission, we will pay $5000 to the deceased driver's estate for the purposes of meeting expenses incidental to a funeral, burial or cremation.
We don’t expect our standard policy to suit everyone, which is why we offer optional extras like hire car and business items cover, so you can tailor your policy until it's just right.
If you have a Comprehensive or Third Party Fire and Theft policy you can choose to add the optional hire car cover. This means that no matter which insured event takes your car off the road we’ll provide you with a hire car for up to 14 days.
If your business items are stolen from a locked boot or lockable compartment, or damaged as a result of an insured event we’ve got you covered. With our optional car insurance for theft protection, we’ll replace each item up to $200, with a maximum amount of $1000 per claim.
If your car is a campervan or motorhome, we'll cover the contents inside up to $1,000 if they're lost or damaged due to an insured event.
Taking out the Choice of Repairer option allows you to choose a repairer outside of our extensive repairer network. However if you don’t select this option, we’ll manage the repair process from start to finish for you using one of our trusted repairers nationwide. All repairs we authorise come with a lifetime guarantee on workmanship.
