Rugby league world cup

The world's biggest Rugby League tournament is coming to our backyard, and we're proud to be part of it.

There's something special about Rugby League fans. They're the first to arrive and the last to leave. They travel thousands of kilometres to follow their team, wear their colours with pride and pass their love of the game from one generation to the next.

At Youi, we believe footy is Made By Fans. That's why we're excited to announce that Youi is a Major Partner of the 2026 Rugby League World Cup.

A World Cup Like No Other

The 2026 Rugby League World Cup is set to be the biggest, and most inclusive, in the tournament's history.

For the first time, Men's, Women's and Wheelchair competitions will be played concurrently, bringing together 26 teams from Over one month, the world's best players will compete for Rugby League's ultimate prize. But while the action on the field will be unforgettable, we know the tournament will be shaped by something else too: the fans who bring it to life.

Youi Chief Marketing Officer Angela Greenwood said the 2026 Rugby League World Cup presented an opportunity to celebrate rugby league’s passionate communities on a global stage.

“As Major Partner of the 2026 Rugby League World Cup, we're proud to support one of the game's biggest global events. Through our Footy. Made by Fans. platform, we're championing the fans whose passion, loyalty and dedication make rugby league what it is,” Angela said.

“The World Cup is a celebration of the very best of the sport, and we're excited to help shine a spotlight on the supporters who are the heartbeat of the game,” she said.

Why This Partnership Matters

Through our Footy. Made by Fans. Platform and partnership with the NRL, we've highlighted the stories, traditions and communities that sit at the heart of the game, from grassroots supporters and club volunteers to diehard fans who never miss a match.

Becoming a Major Partner of the Rugby League World Cup is a natural extension of that commitment.

The tournament presents an opportunity to celebrate Rugby League fandom on the biggest stage possible and recognise the people who create the atmosphere, rivalries and moments that make the game so special.

“Fans are at the heart of everything we do, and Youi has consistently demonstrated its commitment to recognising and celebrating the people who make rugby league so special. We're excited to work together to celebrate rugby league fandom throughout the tournament,” they said.

A Global Stage for Rugby League Fans

One of the things that makes Rugby League unique is the sense of community it creates. Whether you're cheering on Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Papua New Guinea, England or any of the other nations competing in 2026, the tournament will bring together passionate supporters from around the world.

Different teams. Different colours. One shared love of the game.

As Rugby League's biggest international event takes centre stage, we're looking forward to shining a spotlight on the fans who make every tackle, try and victory mean so much more.
