Australians have named Youi as both the Home and Car Insurer of the Year in the 2023 Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards.
The insurance provider was recognised as a winner or highly commended brand across 9 categories for its home and car insurance products.

How winners were chosen
To determine the Customer Satisfaction Award winners for car insurance, Finder asked a total of 5,787 customers in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA how they felt about their current car insurer.
A similar process was conducted for home insurance. In total, Finder surveyed 6,116 Australians across all major states.
To be eligible for inclusion in the final results, there had to be a minimum of 35 responses for each car and home insurer.
Every customer was asked to rate their insurer out of 5 for the following:
- Features and benefits
- Customer service
- Value for money
- Ease of application
- Overall
Respondents were also asked whether they would recommend the brand to a friend. The final score was calculated as an average of all metrics scored.
Great marks all round
Nationally, Youi came in first place for both home and car insurance, scoring 4.39/5 for home and 4.38/5 for car.
Around 93% of customers1 said they would recommend Youi car insurance to a friend, while 94% of customers2 said they would recommend Youi home insurance.
Youi also scored highly for its customer service and ease of application. Unlike some other insurers, you can get a quote over the phone by speaking to one of its staff members.
Alternatively, you can also use its online chat feature. This makes it easier to get answers to frequently asked questions about your policy.
The brand also scored highly for its features and benefits. For example, Youi is the only provider to automatically include roadside assistance4 built into its Comprehensive car insurance policy. This was also one of the major reasons it won a highly commended award for roadside assistance.3
These wins come on top of another from earlier this year, when Youi also won Finder’s 2023 Best Car Insurance - Features award.
