Australians have named Youi as the Insurer of the year at this year’s Finder Awards.
Overall, the car, motorcycle, home, caravan & trailer, watercraft and small business insurance provider was recognised as a winner or finalist across 6 insurance categories for its insurance products.
Ultimately, Youi was recognised as Insurer of the year for factors including its excellent policy features and commitment to customer service.
Looking more closely into the detail, it’s easy to see why Youi won.
Youi’s car insurance comes with high levels of protection. For example, its Comprehensive policy includes a $750 cover limit (with up to $150 for each item) for contents inside the car.*
Also, the fact that Youi automatically includes roadside assistance with its Comprehensive car and motorcycle cover^ was looked upon positively. This was a factor in helping Youi to win the top award for roadside assistance.
For Building & Contents insurance, standard features include temporary accommodation costs for up to 12 months if you have to move out of your owner-occupied home due to an insured event.** Furthermore, it offers cover for building modifications of up to $5,000 if you’re impaired by permanent quadriplegia or paraplegia as a direct result of an insured event.^^
There are extras available for Youi’s Contents insurance too: from business items, to contents in commercial storage and even up to $1,000 for pet injuries after an insurable event.
Finder surveyed thousands of people for its Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards 2022. It was evident that Youi has put a key focus on customer service for a long time. In total, Youi was the winner of 2 customer service prizes: Home insurance – QLD and Home insurance – VIC.
Finder also recognised Youi as a finalist in both the National car insurance award and the Car insurance – NSW award.
